Our sweet brother in the Lord, the Founder of Missions International, Bob Mason, went to Heaven on October 11, 2021. He is with his Father God, his Savior Jesus, and his beloved Debbie now. Nevertheless, we miss him terribly and our hearts are grieving his loss. Was there anyone you’ve ever met who was like him? We are all blessed to have known such an extraordinary, genuine, humble, and Christ-like man. He gave every resource he had so that others would know Christ – he gave his time, his love, his talents, his energy, his support, and all of the days of his life to the mission that the Lord called him to. Every Missions International newsletter detailing the continuing vision, growth, and expansion of ministry to the uttermost parts of the earth made us all marvel at his strengthening zest for life, his laser-like focus on, and his ever-deepening commitment to, the Great Commission. Details regarding his memorial service will be forthcoming shortly. But today, we want to honor his life and legacy as Founder of Missions International and continue to carry it forward, as he envisioned and planned for the next generation of missionaries. His family has requested that in lieu of flowers, charitable gifts honoring his legacy be sent to continue the global mission he and Debbie began 25 years ago and grew at Missions International. We ask and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers for his children and extended family.
